Finland becomes ninth country to ratify UPC Agreement

On 19 January 2016, Finland deposited its instrument of ratification, becoming the ninth country to ratify the Unified Patent Court (UPC) Agreement.

This means that only four more countries, including the UK and Germany, are required to ratify the Agreement before it takes effect.
