Josie Zhou graduated with a BSc degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College London in 2008.

Career to date

Josie carried out a one-year industrial placement in the Biological Reagent & Drug Action department of GlaxoSmithKline in 2006 as part of her degree.

Personal skills

Josie enjoys working with people and problem solving. She is also fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and has a basic knowledge of French.

Sector experience

Josie has acquired a wide range of laboratory skills including molecular biology, protein biochemistry, cell biology and microscopy through her industrial and academic lab experience in addition to her broad biochemistry background.

On a personal note...

Josie enjoys a variety of activities including horse riding and ballroom dancing as well as playing musical instruments such as piano and cello.
