Adam Pattenden

Adam is training to become a patent attorney and works in the Electronics Computing and Physics group. Adam has worked on a wide variety of technologies for a number of clients, including inventions involving electronics, control systems, magnetic generators and sensors.

Education & background

Adam graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master’s Degree in Engineering Science in 2024, specialising in Control and Electronic Engineering. His Masters project involved using neural networks for state of power estimation in batteries.

Since joining the firm, Adam has become a UK part-qualified patent attorney, having completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property at Bournemouth University.

On a personal note…

Adam enjoys rowing, running and cycling or just any sport to balance out the time spent on his computer. Adam is a passable cook but specialises in washing up.
