After university, Matt spent two years working as an engineer at Cummins in the turbocharger technology segment of the company. In his role, Matt worked across various aspects of the turbocharger product lifecycle and later took responsibility for current and new product validation.

Since joining the firm, Matt has become a UK part-qualified patent attorney, having obtained a Distinction in the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property course from Bournemouth University.

On a personal note…

Outside of work, Matt enjoys most sports, but particularly cycling, football and tennis. He loves exploring new places – often on two wheels – having recently returned from a bikepacking trip in Costa Rica. He’s also passionate about music and makes the most of his London location to see his favourite artists live. Away from sport and music, he enjoys teaching himself French, and has been doing so for the past few years.
